Pose Maniacs is a website crated for the purpose of figure studies. Cycling though a large amount of different positions this website is a useful tool for quick gesture drawings, getting the proportions on a pose right, or a reference for the human body for art projects.

Color Wheel is a tool created by Adobe that lets the user pick out shades and tints on an online color wheel. Several types of color pallets can be created using complementary, analogous, triad, and more to create the perfect pallet.

Assessment tools
I would use the tool ClassTool.net to create ease, fun, games that are also quizzes. With really complicated classes that have a large amount of terms to learn, it can really spice up learning and make it easier on the students. In my example, you can play a game that quizzes you on photography terms. This website really makes it easy to create games and things to help assessment.

Jeopardy Labs is a tool that creates a quiz using the content you wish to teach. I created an example of a game that's based on the principles of design. This tool is great for learning the material in a fun way that sticks with the kids, and a bit of competition is great, I could use prizes and everything.

Content area tools
Beautiful Curves is a tool that creates lines that swivel out in random directions. It a great tool that I would have to students create an exciting art piece that can be an easy assignment for students who are trying to understand line. It's nice that students can go as in depth or as simple as they want to create art with this tool. I would give this as homework after school or send kids to the library for downtime as an extra assignment.

Symmetry Artist is a tool that incorporates math into the art classroom, by painting in symmetry it lets students design designs and works of art showing understanding of line. There are a large amount of settings and it would give students a nice opportunity to practice creating a variety prints and patterns.

Popplet is a tool that helps students create flowcharts or brain maps. Using this tool I can use for students to collaborate projects that centralize around art. I can use this tool for students to collaborate projects and pool their resources together.

StoryBird is a tool that lets students create stories or poems with art created by others or uploaded images. I could use it as a way for students to work in group projects and use it as a project that incorporates both literacy and art. They could use it to create a book, or just use it as a variation of a presentation tool.

Presentation Tools
HaikuDeck is a presentation tool designed for short, sweet, to the point slides. It has a wide variety of background that can be searched and its good for clutter free presentations. In my classroom this tool could be used to show off an online portfolio for the class, projects based on an art movement they would have to present.

Slides is exactly what the website suggests, a presentation tool where students can easily create presentations with slides that are fully customisable, everything can be dragged and re sized easily and conveniently. In my classroom this tool would be another option for students to present with.

Communication Tools
Today's meet is a tool that is like a chat room. I could monitor students progress and its a good tool for students to chat about art and the assignments. They could have a well meaning discussion on how the best way to paint is or anything they can think of. Its a great way for participation points to be counted and to really see if students are doing work.

Tumblr is a website where my class could run a blog. Students could post things to it and submit things they found. Since tumblr is a very artist website, there's a large amount of current artwork in circulation, letting students find artistic inspiration and artist that can influence. Students can post things they find interesting and helpful, or just create threads where they talk and bounce ideas to each other.

Productivity Tools
Evernote is a tool that lets you create notes wherever and whenever. Its a great way teachers can get organized and share updates on how far along their planning on multiple things are. I can use this tool to make sure that I'm grading on time, and getting all the paperwork I need for things like grants filled out.

Remind is a tool that sends out reminders to an invited group of students and teachers via text or email. Free for teachers, this tool is a great, safe way to get information across to the other side. For field trips and fundraisers, to reminding students when that big assignment is due this tool is really handy to have in your repertoire.
